2015 Carat Scholarship Winners Crowned Across the Country
This week, we announced our 2015 Carat Scholarship winners - Seth Tulloch in Sydney, Joanne Kappl in Melbourne and Shane McAulay in Brisbane.
Now in its 2nd year, the Carat Scholarship program is about supporting, nurturing and challenging our rising talent. The aim of the competition is to recognise the hottest young talent across Australia with a unique work and travel experience to visit an international Carat office of their selection.
The 65 entrants from the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth offices competed in two rounds of competition. Round one involved responding to a brief in five minutes and focused on using emerging technology to develop business value for a current Carat client.
The top five responses in each market then went through to the grand final round which was responding to a live client brief, this year provided by Woolworths.
Scholars were evaluated by a judging panel consisting of Senior leaders from the business including CEO Simon Ryan who commented that he was 'extremely impressed and proud of the depth of talent that we are nurturing at Carat across the business and by market'.
The winners will be travelling to Carat offices around the globe. Seth Tulloch to London, Shane McAulay to San Francisco and Joanne Kappl to New York for a month long work and travel experience funded by Carat.
